CLAW MONEY (born Claudia Goldi in 1968) is considered one of the most prominent early female graffiti artists in New York City, and then becomes a fashion designer.
During late 1980s and early 1990s, Claw Money’s icon, a paw with three claws, could be seen on the New York graffiti landscape on walls and trains with the graffiti crews TC5 and FC.
After making her mark throughout the metropolitan area of New York with her graffiti, she followed her passion in fashion and design, and launched the fashion brands CLAW MONEY and Claw&Co. In 2007, CLAW MONEY collaborated with Nike, with whom she designed two styles of Limited Edition: Claw Money X Nike Vandal High Supreme Premium Peacock in blue and black.
In 2009 Tag au Grand Palais in Paris, France named Claudia Gold a/k/a CLAW MONEY one of the most influential graffiti artists of all time.
