Dwight Eisenhower Signed Letter typed on his personal stationery and initials signed “D.E.” in black fountain pen dated January 17, 1963 to Roy W. Howard, President of E.W. Scripps Company and Chairman of Scripps Howard Newspapers; thanking him for sending his personalized copy of the 1963 World Almanac.
Eisenhower served as the 34th President of the United States (1953-1961). During World War II, Eisenhower served as the Supreme Commander of the Allied Expeditionary Force in Europe earning the rank as U.S. Army five star General.
